To say thank you, you will receive a voucher that can be used in multiple stores.
Yes. We want to hear from non members and Vhi members, as long as you’re over 18 years and living in the Republic of Ireland. You don’t need to fit other particular criteria in order to be a participant.
We’re running studies all the time, as soon as we have a study that we think is suitable for you, our researchers will contact you. For example, if we are researching our pregnancy services, we may look for participants who are pregnant. So, it may be some time before you hear from us. We will, however, be in contact when we have the right fit for you.
We understand that life is busy so we will work with what suits you. Four times a year is the maximum you will be called upon. Should you want to pass on one, that’s no problem. Just let us know before it begins.
We will ask for your thoughts and ideas on our products and services. For the patient research, we will not be asking people details such as your medical history. Instead, we will be asking for your thoughts and experiences in dealing with you medical condition, and navigating health services.
Vhi runs a variety of study types involving user testing of Vhi products/services and patient research. Please note that you can sign up to do user testing without signing up to do patient research. You may be invited to participate in any of the following studies:
Online user-testing (online studies)
In these studies, we’ll gather your feedback via a screen-sharing session with a researcher where you may be asked to provide feedback about ideas, processes, or designs. These sessions will be one-to-one. You’ll need to have a high speed internet connection for this type of study.
In-person testing (face-to-face studies)
In these studies, you’ll typically meet one-to-one with a Vhi researcher who will ask you for your opinion on topics such as healthcare or insurance. These studies usually take place in our offices in Dublin and Kilkenny.
Focus groups
Sometimes we run focus groups, where we will invite a group of people to discuss our products and services together. These can take place online or in person.
For patient research, sometimes we run focus groups where we discuss the experience of living with a medical condition. These can take place online or in-person.
Surveys
For patient research, sometimes we send out surveys to get an understanding of the person’s experience of living with a medical condition.
