Vhi announce average price increase of 2% effective from the 1st May 2017
16 March 2017 - Vhi today announced that it will increase its prices by an average of 2% on a range of plans with effect from 1st May 2017. The increase is necessary in order to cover the costs of new technologies, new drugs and new procedures as well as rising claims costs in public hospitals.
According to Declan Moran, Director of Marketing and Business Development, “we have worked hard to keep the price increase as low as possible but need to ensure that our plans continue to deliver new and innovative benefits to our customers .Our commitment to our customers is that we will continue to deliver health insurance plans that are relevant to their needs and provide them with access to the latest drugs and treatments while striving to keep those plans affordable.”
