30th August 2018 – Vhi today announced that they have decided to extend the deadline for customers to claim their cash rewards through www.vhi.ie/onlineadvantage until 1st October 2018.
Under this initiative, Vhi customers will be offered a once-off reward of €50 per adult policyholder who signs up for automated payments and a further €50, per adult (over 18) customer, if they opt to receive documentation online. Customers must register online through www.vhi.ie/onlineadvantage before 1st October 2018 and will receive their cash reward after this date.
- A single policyholder is guaranteed €100
- A couple can claim up to €150
- A family with two adult dependents over 18 could claim as much as €250
To claim the reward, customers will need to have details to hand such as their policy number and their banking details (BIC and IBAN numbers).
Mr Declan Moran, Director, Marketing and Business Development, Vhi said “people have really engaged with this in the last few days however, we recognise that late August, early September is a busy time of the year for people, families in particular with back to school preparations underway, so to make sure as many people as possible get the opportunity to claim their cash awards we are extending the deadline until 1st October 2018. In particular we are encouraging policy holders to remind their adult dependants to register their details too and see their cash reward increase. “
He added “With the introduction of GDPR there is now an onus on us to correspond directly with each insured adult over 18 years of age rather than just the policyholder. We hope that the Online Advantage campaign will help us collate contact details for all these customers, while at the same time making our customers’ lives easier by enabling them to do their business with us online.”
When will Payments Start?
If you have already signed up for the Online Advantage before 1st September 2018, you will receive your payment in September 2018.
Some customers have signed up for automated payments but not online documentation and vice versa. This extended deadline gives these customers an opportunity to sign up for both and receive their full cash reward. All additional payments will be made in October 2018.
