At Vhi, we offer a range of health checks that provide a clear picture of your current health. These checks can help you stay one step ahead and provide peace of mind for the future. We guide you through the process, and offer advice you can trust.

How it works
Preparation
You may need to fast, depending on what is appropriate for you. You will receive an information pack with information on this.
Arrival
To help minimise the spread of infection, you may be asked some screening questions.
Review
A doctor/nurse will take you through the HealthCheck, and review available results with you on the day.
Your final medical report, including all of your results, will be sent to you after your appointment once everything is available.
What we offer
HealthCheck €195
- In-depth consultation reviewing medical history, mental wellbeing, family history and lifestyle analysis.
- Cardiovascular and diabetes risk assessment.
- Comprehensive physical examination including blood pressure, cardiovascular, breast /testes examination, height/weight, waist circumference and body fat analysis.
- Blood tests - fasting glucose and Hba1c, lipid profile and full blood count.
- Consultant reported ECG.
HealthCheck Enhanced €385
Everything in HealthCheck, plus:
Blood tests for
- Thyroid function.
- Bone profiles.
HealthCheck Executive €490
Everything in HealthCheck and HealthCheck Enhanced plus:
- Vision and hearing assessment.
- Prostate cancer screening - medical criteria apply.

Costs and cover
Cover
A number of plans provide 100% cover for one every 2 years. Otherwise, the price is:
- HealthCheck €195.
- HealthCheck Enhanced €395.
- HealthCheck Executive €490.
Excess
Typically €50/€75, depending on your plan. If you do not have cover, there is no excess charge.

No. All medical information and screening results are held in the strictest of confidence.
