About our midwife support service

Vhi Midwife Support Service aims to provide information and support to our members throughout pregnancy.

  • A dedicated midwife will guide you through each stage of your pregnancy with a series of consultations, in addition to the care provided by your GP and maternity care provider.
  • You will receive practical and emotional support, tailored to your needs through phone and video calls. 
  • Once baby arrives, you can rely on us with four further consultations in the first six weeks.

We offer

  • 30 min. midwife consultations.

  • In-person group sessions available.

  • Women's health physiotherapist or dietitian consultations.

  • Antenatal - 3 consultations starting from 8 weeks.

Costs and cover

Cover: cover for this on many of our plans. Check your Table of Benefits document in MyVhi for your plan details.

Adding baby to my policy

You can add your newborn without an additional cost, within the first 13 weeks, until renewal in MyVhi. This applies to your Health, MultiTrip or International policy once it's active.

If your policy is paid by your employer, simply call us to add your newborn. Only the policyholder can add or view your baby's details. Should you wish to review cover options, simply call us on: 056 444 4444.
